Jakob is one of the best Danish teachers I have ever had! He is very patient, kind, attentive and has a great sense of how to support your learning. He explains everything very well from grammar to Danish history. He brings great topics to talk about and is also flexible if you would like to focus on something different. Thanks to his support, I managed to do my first ever job interview in Danish - and I even got the job at my very first Danish speaking workplace. I 100% recommend him to all levels of Danish learners, who want to improve their Danish speaking skills.

I started taking lessons with this teacher when my Danish level was around A2, and I only had 10 days and 10 lessons left before my PD3 exam. Thanks to his help, I managed to get a grade 7, which I’m really proud of! He is extremely kind and patient. No matter how many mistakes I made, he never laughed or made me feel bad — instead, he calmly corrected me every time and helped me improve. His supportive attitude made me feel comfortable and more confident during every lesson. Danish pronunciation has always been very difficult for me, but he took the time to explain exactly how to say each word and helped me understand the pronunciation step by step. The lessons were intense but well-structured, and I always felt that he was fully committed to helping me succeed. I highly recommend him to anyone preparing for the PD3 exam or looking to improve their Danish in a friendly and supportive environment.

Great teacher with a patient attitude, great resources, and structured learning approach

The lessons with Jakob are always great fun. We started working together a few months ago and I made great progress in verbal communication since as opposed to my earlier attempts. This is due to his style of teaching and the motivation I pulled from it to engage with the language in everyday life. Jakob always prepares some intriguing topics that provide the base of our conversation but also let us to wander around where my associations bring us. He calibrates well when to correct my recurrent mistakes and when just let carried by the flow. It’s a pleasure to have him as a guide. I can warmly recommend him.

Jakob is the best Danish teacher I’ve had in my 8 years living in Denmark. He adapts to your needs, and makes a fun yet effective class every time. He is really good at explaining concepts, grammar etc with good examples and fun stories. I am finally feeling a big improvement so I would highly recommend him.
