Hi, I'm Lucka, 40, from the Czech Republic, living in Ostrava. Born and raised here, I teach Czech and geography at a primary school. I love sharing knowledge with my students 📚. In my free time, I enjoy reading, my dog 🐕, traveling ✈️, and hiking ⛰️. My dream is to visit as many countries as possible! 🌍

Ahoj, jsem Lucka, je mi 40 let, pocházím z České republiky a bydlím v Ostravě. Mám tady celou svou rodinu a pracuji zde. Učím český jazyk a zeměpis na základní škole. Moje práce mě baví, protože mám dobrý pocit, když se o své vědomosti podělím se svými žáky. Ráda čtu, věnuji se psovi, a cestuji. Ráda bych za svůj život navštívila co nejvíce zemí světa.我的教學經歷

I've been teaching Czech language and geography at an elementary school for several years. I have good experience teaching older children. I've also taught Czech language to children who are foreigners.

In my lessons, I primarily focus on conversation. We also listen to audio recordings that spark discussions or engage in various activities and exercises.
I use textbooks with lots of online exercises, we play different motivational games. After the lesson, I will send you homework so that you can better remember the material covered.

Ve svých lekcích využívám hlavně konverzace. Taky si poslechneme audio nahrávky, o kterých můžeme konverzovat nebo budeme dělat aktivity v různých cvičeních.
Používám učebnice se spoustou online cvičení, zahrajeme různé motivační hry. Po skončení lekce ti pošlu domácí úkoly, aby sis lépe zapamatoval probrané učivo.我的教材

I definitely recommend Lucie. I haven’t been “back to the basics” in a long time - in the last few years, I have concentrated on gaining confidence in speaking, but this sometimes came at the expense of talking properly. Now that I have the confidence to have a conversation, Lucie and I are working on the grammar rules that I struggle with. In fact, after a 15 minute introductory conversation, Lucie was right away able to tell me what I could improve on, and our lessons since then have focused on that. Těším se!

I’ve really enjoyed my lessons with Lucie. She is very professional and brings real teaching experience that makes a big difference to my learning.
