Shalom! Ciao! Привет! My name Is Johnny Bombino.
Opera singer, Polyglot, And your guide to Theatre based Hebrew lessons with a cultural twist!
Born in Israel to Belarussian parents and now based in Italy, I’ve turned my lifelong passion for languages into helping students thrive in Hebrew.
Whether you’re preparing for Aliyah, exploring holy texts, or simply craving conversational confidence, I blend music, role-play, and real-world scenarios to make learning alive.
With fluency in Hebrew, Russian, Italian and English (plus a dash of French/German!) and the experience of living abroad myself I understand the challenges - and joys - of language immersion.

After years of private tutoring and Hebrew teaching, I’ve concluded that the best method is tailoring my lessons to the individual needs of the person in front of me.
I design each lesson based on the topics, needs, and real-life situations the student is likely to encounter.- we will simulate scenarios, we will act upon them and gain confidence!
Specializing in helping people move to a new country and take their first steps in the language — including the alphabet, grammar, niqqud, and vocabulary building for complete beginners.

As I’ve mentioned before, I love using role-play and creating individualized content for each and every student.
Whether you're preparing for Aliyah, planning a vacation, a yoga instructor wanting to teach in Hebrew, passionate about reading holy scriptures, or simply nostalgic for a song you once heard — I’ve got you covered!
We'll work with flashcards, reading comprehension texts, PDFs, exercises, and music listening to help you build vocabulary, confidence, and long-term memory.

This guy is amazing. We had some simulations that would resemble how I would be using the language. Also, he tested my vocabulary to see my blindspots. This guy is really solid. He's not one of those hebrew teachers that speaks to you only in English. He really tries to help you learn through interactive content which is the most enjoyable way to learn. Also, he is responsible, stand-up guy.

I'm having a fun time learning with Johnny! Each lesson is tailored based on my current level of knowledge and Johnny knows how to make it challenging enough so that my vocabulary expands.
During class, time flies and I feel like I'm studying with a friend I've known for some time, due to his likeable and fun personality.
I would say that If this language learning platform was an underground mine, then you've just stumbled upon gold.

Another great lesson with Johnny. I learned lots of new useful words in Hebrew and practised important constructions through speaking and reading. Happy to continue learning and highly recommend this teacher.
