Salut à toi! My name is Bouthaina and I’m from Tunisia, from a city called Tataouine (not the planet, if you know you know!).
I’ve been teaching French online for two years, and it’s been an amazing journey so far. I’m passionate about languages and cultures, and I love how online teaching lets me meet people from all over the world and discover their unique relationship with French.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching K-dramas and C-dramas, reading webtoons, and playing video games.

Did you know that French started off as a vulgar Latin dialect spoken by common people, while “correct Latin” was reserved for nobles? It’s funny how the mistakes of yesterday became today’s norms. And guess what? That “correct Latin” eventually disappeared while French continues to thrive today!
Why do I start with this anecdote? Because it reflects who I am as a teacher. I believe that mistakes are not failures, they’re signs of growth and transformation. I’m patient and value progress over perfection. I love helping students feel confident, relaxed, and brave enough to explore the language as I adapt to each student’s way of learning and guide you step by step, at any level. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In my lessons, I focus strongly on grammar because a solid understanding of grammar gives you a strong foundation to build your French on. It can feel overwhelming at times, but don’t worry, you’ve got this!
I start by explaining concepts and breaking them down into simple parts. Then, we move to exercises, I make sure to keep a good balance between explanation and practice so you never feel lost or overloaded.
I also bring real-life examples,expressions, and useful vocabulary to help you connect grammar with actual communication. Most importantly we are are in a stress-free zone. No judgment, no pressure just a relaxed encouraging space where where you can learn at your own pace.我的教材
