Kaoru

Kaoru-san is an excellent teacher who is fun, out-going, kind and patient. Even when I make mistakes she isn't someone who will laugh but encourages me to keep going. I feel very comfortable speaking in Japanese and most importantly making mistakes in Japanese with her. She has many fun and interesting interests and hobbies so it's easy for speak about literally everything. She makes learning Japanese really fun and I look forward to my lessons weekly. I do feel like I am improving so much, since I have started learning from her and I am so grateful for that as I have wasted years not progressing in Japanese.

Kaoru is a great teacher! I really value teachers like her. As a polyglot and language enthusiast, I consider myself to have relative high standards and expectations for teachers and tutors. Kaoru sensei meets all my expectations and sometimes goes beyond it. Also, she is always positive and full of energy, making taking classes at 6am way easier to me hahah かおる先生、ありがとうございます‼

Kaoru-san is an incredibly sweet and patient teacher. Calm, kind, and always encouraging, she creates a relaxed atmosphere. She listens carefully, explains clearly, and never rushes. Her gentle attitude and friendly energy make her a truly delightful person to learn with. Thank you!

What l like the most while having lessons with Kaoru Sensei is that l feel relaxed and comfortable speaking even with my very limited abilities (around N5). She really does a great job at matching the level of the conversation to what l can do with such a limited vocabulary and grammar and supports my clumsy efforts. This is exactly what l need, just practicing what l was learning so far without feeling too challenged. Until now l always felt somewhat stressed with other teachers l tried out. Now l am hopeful l can keep doing it regularly without feeling apprehensive about booking the next lesson:)
