Hi there, I'm Fenix. I took a break from italki to focus on my master’s studies, but now I’m excited to be back and teaching again. :) As a Korean third-culture individual, I have lived most of my life abroad and have had the opportunity to immerse myself in a wide range of cultures and languages. I truly enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities!我的教學經歷
I am a Trinity CertTESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certified teacher with a passion for working with adult learners. For over a decade, I have had the pleasure of helping students improve their general English proficiency and their IELTS Academic test scores in the Czech Republic, Hong Kong SAR, and now in Korea. During my time in Hong Kong, I was a head teacher at an international English language learning education company for adults, where I received the Teacher of the Year award multiple times. Teaching is my true calling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help my students achieve their language goals. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My classes are student-centered and interactive. :) In a student-centered environment, learners are encouraged to participate actively in their own learning rather than simply sitting and listening to the teacher talk. It's very different from the traditional, more passive way of learning!證書

Head TeacherWall Street English is an international English language learning education company for adults. I taught general English and IELTS Academic preparation courses, online as well as face-to-face. Students were from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Venezuela. As a head teacher, some of my responsibilities included observing and assessing teachers’ classes and revising and editing the company's supplementary teaching materials.

Experienced English TeacherEdua Group is the biggest education company in the Czech Republic. After a year of teaching, I was promoted to the position of experienced English teacher, a position that is normally given to teachers with three or more years of experience. I taught general English and some exam preparation courses to adults from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Serbia.

Fenix is a very good teacher. She helps me improve my pronunciation and grammar. She is very patient and brings things related with what you want. Her method is good, through conversation we can become more confident and correct any mistakes, and she leaves some homework if you want to train. I recommend her if you want to improve your English.

Fenix is a very good teacher; she is very kind, patient, and makes you feel confident when you are speaking English. I really enjoy the classes with her; it is not boring, and the time goes by very fast in her classes. Her teaching method is very interactive, while you learn something new; she teaches you how to use it in real life. You can feel free to make mistakes when you speak English because she can correct you and make you learn from it with examples. I really recommend her highly. <3
