Miriam's energy, enthusiasm, and openness make each lesson something to look forward to. She gives me a lot of leeway to make mistakes (and I make plenty of them!) without interrupting the flow of the conversation to correct all of them. Because of that, I'm willing to plow ahead and keep trying. The bottom line is that Miriam is a wonderful teacher.

Here’s how good I think Miriam is: we took nearly a two week break for the Christmas holiday and when we did our lesson today, it very much felt like catching up with an old friend. I was actually surprised how easy it was to jump back into the conversation with her. She is just terrific.
