Hiiro

This was my 10th lesson with ひいろ and there are only good things I can say about her and her lessons. They have been engaging since day one and I always feel like I’ve improved even if it’s just a little. She is learning my native language so lately we have been comparing Spain and Spanish to Japan and Japanese, which I find very interesting and will sometimes result in funny conversations. A few months ago I started reading books in Japanese and I have been able to ask ひいろ questions about the sentences and grammar I didn’t understand . She gives plenty of explanations and we have a shared google docs where she writes them down with plenty of example sentences. We also practice conversation using the grammar I’ve recently learned but that I still can’t naturally use in conversations. I have lots of opportunities to speak and she corrects me if I make a major mistake. I definitely recommend ひいろ as your conversation or grammar tutor and I plan to keep doing lessons with her.

I had another enjoyable and helpful lesson with Hiiro-sensei. In fact, the hour passed much too quickly! I'm really grateful for her patience and support as I continue trying to share things in Japanese. I'll keep trying! 😊

今回は色々なことについて話しました！すごく面白い授業でした。宗教について話したり、説明を読んでいると見つけた文法を説明してくれたりしました。よく勉強になりました！ We talked about many things in today's lessons! It was really fun. We talked about religions and Hiiro explained to me some grammar I encounter while reading and that I found difficult. I learned a lot!

Hiiro -san is an amazing teacher! She is very thoughtful and customize lessons based on your level. Highly recommend!

今日もよく勉強になりました。ひいろさんに話すたびに、話すのは磨くような気がする！小説の文法を一緒に読むし、色々な課題について話すし、日本語が分かるのが、毎回毎回、上手になります。すごく嬉しい :) I learned a lot today, too! Every time I talk to ひいろ I feel like I'm improving my speaking. Because we read some book parts together and we talk a bout many topics my understanding of Japanese is getting better everytime. I'm really happy :)
