Hi, I’m Bri (Yeonjoo 연주) 😊 Born and raised in Seoul, I’m a total language enthusiast! I’ve lived in the US before and I’m currently based in Malaysia. I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world ✈️ but I’m also a big fan of slow, cozy days with yoga, homemade meals, good books, and sunsets 🌅
I’m an easygoing and attentive listener, so no pressure at all—feel free to speak comfortably and be yourself in our lessons! I’ve spent years learning foreign languages too, so I really get how awkward (and sometimes scary 😅) it can feel to speak in a new language. That’s why I try to create a relaxed, supportive space where you can actually enjoy the process. I’m also currently studying Korean language education to become an even better tutor 📚
In my classes, we focus on real-life Korean. The kind you’ll actually use with Korean friends or locals. Not just textbook expressions, but also those little nuances, tones, and delivery that make you sound more natural. We can chat about everyday life, your interests, or even Korean culture if you’re curious 🇰🇷

I've been taking classes with Yeonjoo for a while now. She is very kind and always helps me correct my sentences. Despite my slow progress, she remains patient and friendly. I highly recommend trying a lesson with her!
Yeonjoo also takes notes of all the words I'm struggling with, just as I requested, which is fantastic. Thank you so much!

I’ve been having lessons with teacher Bri Chang lately and I’m very very happy with them. She’s always prepared for the lesson and brings interesting questions and materials. During the lesson I always feel extremely comfortable because of the warm and friendly atmosphere teacher Bri Chang brings. I’m not scared to make mistakes or to take more time to think of words or sentences cause she’s patient and always helps me to word my thoughts and corrects me if I’m wrong. 🥰

Bri is a wonderful teacher. She’s always prepared, very kind, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. I’ve learned a lot with her and I really enjoy our classes. I totally recommend her!
