Thank you so much for today's lesson!! It's been 2 years since I've started taking lessons with Miki-sensei. My 4th trip to Japan is coming up next week - I feel ready to use the skills I've learned!! She's an incredible, patient, and amazing teacher!

We talked about my adventures in making writing friends here in Austin, and how my American friend who lives in Japan gets ひとつ and ふたつ mixed up even after living there for 10+ years. We kind of had a mix up about the friend who lives in Japan vs the writers here, but we figured it out. It was fun trying to figure out how to communicate that specific difference. And, she taught me a new word 食料品（しょくりょうひん）for groceries, and 乗り物 for automobiles! And a specific phrase なになに　を1つの単語で言うと、なんですか？ very handy phrase! Thanks so much Miki Sensei!
