I’m Rin, a certified bilingual Japanese teacher with a passion for calligraphy and language education🖌️✨
Born in Yokohama but lived in the U.S. for 6 years, I blend Japanese culture with native-level English to make learning seamless. Whether you want conversational fluency, job interviews, or elegant calligraphy, I’ll tailor lessons to your goals!
When I’m not teaching, I’m baking, watching sitcoms, and solo-traveling. I'd love to learn about your country!🥐✈️🎬

Great lesson, I can tell my reading and overall grammar is getting better with Rin. Rin always provides answers to my questions and does her best to research even the most obscure questions related to Kanji and Grammar etc.

Rin is a kind and friendly teacher and who creates a relaxed and easy to talk atmosphere in her lessons. She also keeps track of any new words or grammar structures we learn which is really helpful. She's also fluent in English which makes it easy to explain what you're trying to say or learn.

Rin is incredibly patient and easy to talk to. I was bumbling through, trying to think of the correct words, and she was super helpful with noting down and teaching me the vocabulary I lacked. After class, I was sent a google doc with all the new words.
Overall, I had a great experience in the short 30 or so minutes of our lesson. Thank you Rin :)
