Born and raised in Germany, I’m a native German speaker with a Master’s degree and extensive experience teaching adults from around the world.
My focus is on clear, calm conversation practice for learners who understand German but don’t feel confident speaking yet.
I don’t use role plays or artificial scenarios. Instead, we work with natural conversation, selective corrections and clear explanations, so speaking German feels more comfortable and more natural over time.
Whether you need German for daily life, work or travel, my goal is simple: to help you speak with more clarity and confidence.我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I draw on my bilingual background in a very practical way.
Having grown up with two languages, I know how it feels to understand a language well but still hesitate when speaking.
This helps me recognize where learners get stuck and how to explain things clearly and calmly.
I focus on real communication, selective corrections and building confidence step by step.

Meine Probestunde war wirklich angenehm. Wir haben einen Plan erstellt, der zu meiner Lernweise passt. Seine Art zu erklären ist für jedes Niveau geeignet und er ist sehr geduldig, das fand ich echt hilfreich. Das war ein guter Start, um mein Deutschsprechen zu verbessern.

I worked with Mert to help me prepare for the speaking part of my B2 Prüfung. Sometimes he gave me sample topics and sometimes I prepared my own. He gave me immediate feedback and I always left knowing what I needed to work on for the next time. In the end I scored a 96 on the speaking part of my exam. The time spent working with Mert was time very well-spent.
