If you want to learn Hebrew while having a ton of fun in the process, look no further! Shai's lessons are one of the highlights of my week. From day one, it’s been obvious how much time, heart, and effort he pours into teaching. He doesn’t just "show up"—he arrives with a personalized energy that makes you feel like you’re his top priority. Shai is also the gold standard when it comes to patience. You feel zero judgment, and he creates a space where you feel comfortable making (and learning from) mistakes. Because he is so encouraging and removes the "fear factor," I’m never afraid to try something difficult or dive into something new. He'll also never rush you along. If you don't understand something the first time, he'll find a new, creative way to explain it until you do. Bottom Line, if you want a teacher who is as kind and patient as he is skilled, you've found one in Shai! He makes you feel capable, confident, and excited to keep learning. 10/10, highly recommend.

I've had a fair amount of lessons with Shai now, and he is a really good teacher. He uses a wide range of materials which help in different ways and my speaking has improved so much since I started learning with him. For the first time in years on my last trip to Israel, I actually managed to speak more than very basic Hebrew in places where there did not speak English. I'd fully recommend learning with Shai to anyone considering learning Hebrew

Shai is truly an awesome tutor. I honestly always look forward to our weekly lessons (we've been meeting for a year now). He's really helped me with my flow in Hebrew conversation. He's also a very thoughtful, engaging, and kind tutor. I'd highly recommend Shai for Hebrew lessons!

Shai is a great teacher, we have fun in class and I have lots of speaking time. He is able to make jokes, develop on stories and anecdotes, and make me feel comfortable enough to just talk! He gently corrects mistakes in a way that is not overbearing, but instead, is very helpful. These lessons are really useful in ensuring I remain confident and able to speak with fluency, despite no longer being in Israel. Thanks Shai!
