Originally from the southeast of Germany, I've worked in many countries. As a book author I've published many books, mostly non-fiction books and ghost stories. I have my own business.
My hobbies are reading, organic gardening, arts, history, nature walks and training rescued cats.我的教學經歷
Whether you're an advanced learner or an absolute beginner: with me as your teacher you'll speak real German from the start.
I have been teaching part-time for forty years. I give mostly private tuition, online workshops and courses in adult education. I hold City&Guilds certificates for teaching adults, and have around 5,000 hours teaching experience.
I believe that the ability to communicate in a language is more important than the mastery of grammar rules.

If you're a beginner, I'll teach you simple, useful sentences. You'll talk like a German from Lesson 1!
If you're an advanced learner, we'll chat naturally, so you get speaking practice. During our conversations I'll observe your weaknesses, and then we'll address those with specific exercises.
With realistic roleplays you'll reach your practical learning goals fastest. I'll be your customer, client, boss, co-worker, human resources manager, legal opponent, landlord, patient or neighbour.
Let's chat about your favourite topics. We'll have such stimulating conversations that you'll soon forget that you're speaking in a foreign language.我的教材
