I have taken quite a few classes with Rafael by now and he is still a wonderful teacher who doesn’t only know a lot about the linguistic part put also history and can explain the roots of Brazilian culture. Furthermore he has excellent movie recommendations! Much appreciated :) obrigado!

Learning a language always means navigating uncertain terrain: you lack the words, you're vaguely aware that you're constantly mangling the grammar, you fail to understand things you feel you should understand... It's no small feat, then, for a teacher to ease some of that insecurity and unblock you, and I'm happy to report that Rafael managed to do exactly that, while also coming prepared with a clear plan and structured material to move things forward on a more technical level.
