Hi! I’m Shin, a native Japanese speaker and Japanese cuisine chef living in Japan.
I have several years of experience as a volunteer English teacher and understand the challenges of learning a second language.
I love traveling, delicious food, hot springs, and enjoying the outdoors. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and tailored to your pace.

Because I’m also studying English, I know exactly how it feels to struggle, lose motivation, or feel frustrated when learning a new language.
That’s why my goal is to create fun, stress-free Japanese lessons so you can speak with confidence while enjoying the process.
I’m patient, supportive, and will adapt each lesson to your needs.
僕自身も英語を勉強してますので、他の言語を身につける事の大変さや難しさはよくわかります。みんなと同じように勉強に疲れたり、嫌になる時もあります。なので僕と話している間はお互い「楽しく」過ごせる時間を作っていきます。 我的課程內容與教學風格
For Beginners:
・Self-introduction & simple daily conversation practice
・Learn to make and read sentences using hiragana and basic words
・Gradually introduce manga and anime materials for fun learning
For Intermediate/Advanced:
・Free conversation on topics you enjoy
・Expand vocabulary and learn honorifics (keigo)
・Bring your own materials or topics if you prefer
・Optional JLPT preparation and travel Japanese practice

The lesson with Shin today was great. We've been reviewing things that we've covered over the last few weeks and I feel like I am slowly but surely making some progress. Shin is very patient and when I completely lost it near the end of the lesson, he pulled it back and made sure we had a positive end to the session.
