I didn’t include this in the previous message due to the character limit. At the end of the pronunciation lesson, the teacher records the practiced sound in three forms: correctly, exaggerated for muscular training, and with a mistake to aid differentiation. He also records words containing the sound. Additionally, after teaching a specific feature of a sound, the teacher provides recordings both with and without that feature. These recordings are made immediately after the lesson and sent as practice material for the next session.

I attended two lessons to work on Standard American English pronunciation. The first involved reading sentences to diagnose difficulties, identifying mispronounced sounds, explaining why they were incorrect, and discussing the teacher's plan to improve my pronunciation. The teacher was very attentive, allowing me to ask as many questions as I wanted. I appreciated his ability to discuss details of phonetics not included in IPA's dictionaries. In the second, we focused on improving the "dark L" and distinguishing it from the "light L," as well as comparing it to the L sound in my native language. The lesson started with an explanation of articulation. The teacher used a drawing to illustrate the articulation and repeated the sounds several times before asking me to try. He was very patient, answering my questions, letting me retry, and repeating sounds when needed. He also used online tools to generate reading material, combining isolated sound practice to help identify challenges.
