Hello! I'm Mai😊Have you ever taken lessons that promised “You will speak Japanese quickly!” but didn’t see the results you expected?
Japanese is very different from many other languages. Its grammar structure is unique, it uses three writing systems, and it has many variations such as polite and casual speech.
As a language education specialist with a background in linguistics and translation, I will be honest with you. I will not say that Japanese can be mastered easily or quickly. However, I can support you in a way that makes the journey enjoyable and sustainable✨我的教學經歷
I began my teaching career in 2010, providing English lessons to Japanese learners.
In 2019, I taught Japanese at a senior high school in Taiwan, where I gained valuable classroom teaching experience. After returning to Japan, I transitioned to online teaching, which I continue to focus on today.
As a language education specialist, I value honesty and sincerity in my teaching. I am friendly, patient, and supportive, and I will encourage you a lot. However, I will never promise that you will speak quickly or that learning Japanese is easy.
Instead, I focus on making lessons enjoyable, no stress, and something you will want to continue✨ 我的課程內容與教學風格
1. I teach grammar in a clear and structured way, but instead of relying on standard textbooks, I use original materials. Through fun activities and lots of speaking practice, you will learn how to use grammar naturally.
2. I take your questions seriously. Why is this sentence structured this way? What is the difference between similar words? When should this expression be used? I explain these clearly, sometimes from a linguistic perspective, and always adjust the explanation to your level.
3. I offer flexible, personalized lessons based on your goals. Whether you want to focus on natural conversation, formal business Japanese, or grammar, I will tailor the lesson to you😊我的教材

Mai is an amazing teacher! She always makes sure that I understand the material before moving on. Mai also incorporates several language skills into the lesson (listening, reading, speaking, etc.). Her lessons are really fun, and she helps in English when you don’t understand, so it never feels awkward. Her original materials are also very helpful.
After each lesson, she sends lesson notes and materials, so you can review easily.
