Hi! I’m Catherine, a British English tutor specializing in conversation classes with intermediate and advanced learners, whether it's informal chat you want or help to have conversations for more formal atmospheres. I also assist with interview preparation. With years of teaching globally - and firsthand experience learning Spanish in South America -I know the highs and lows of mastering a language. When I’m not helping students gain fluency and confidence, I work as a freelance journalist. Away from work, you’ll find me running trails, exploring new cultures, or chatting about everything from current affairs to your favorite foods. I'm a calm, patient and friendly teacher and encourage students to be comfortable with making mistakes and learning from them. I've taught students from all over the world and love not only teaching students, but learning from them too. I mainly teach intermediate and advanced students, helping them to communicate more naturally and effectively through conversation, confidence boosting and enriching their vocabulary. I'm a very flexible tutor and will adapt lessons depending on the student's wants and needs. As well as correcting errors, I really try to help students build confidence in their English and enjoy the process. I love chatting about different topics but will also help you identify any patterns of errors you are making so that we can work on them. I'm a journalist by profession so particularly enjoy speaking about current affairs too, although am interested in just about any topic.我的教材
