I’m a native Dutch speaker who has been living and working abroad for over seven years, so I understand both the challenges and the beauty of learning a new language. I’ve studied several languages myself, including English, German, French, Spanish, Indonesian, and Latin, with varying levels of success. So if you ever feel nervous about speaking, making mistakes, or feeling “stuck,” trust me, I get it. I have both Dutch and Indonesian roots and have been living in Indonesia for the past five years while actively learning Bahasa Indonesia myself. I offer personalized Dutch lessons for students of all levels and backgrounds. My lessons are mainly conversation-focused and designed to help you feel comfortable actually using Dutch in real life. We’ll focus on building confidence, expanding vocabulary naturally, and improving your speaking step by step in a relaxed and supportive environment. While I’m not a certified NT2 teacher, I do have over six years of experience as a study and thesis mentor. I’ve guided hundreds of Dutch and international students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, including neurodivergent learners. I strongly believe language learning is possible at any age. You already learned one language, so you already have the tools needed to learn another ;) Sometimes it’s simply about finding an approach that works for you. Expect relaxed but structured lessons with lots of speaking, reflection, and real-life Dutch.
