Hi, I'm Alexander. Think of me as your British guide to real English. I’m a TESOL-certified Language and Transformation Coach supporting adults who want to sound natural, relaxed, and sure of themselves – even if you don’t feel that way yet.
We don’t just study grammar or pronunciation; we talk. Real conversations, about work, life, ideas, even those awkward moments where English feels just out of reach. Bit by bit, your confidence grows until speaking English feels like 100% natural.
And when I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me wandering through Scotland’s hills, swimming in a cold loch, or singing a soul song that always makes me smile.

My way of teaching starts with three simple ideas: clarity, confidence, and real-world use.
Language isn’t something you memorise. It’s not about remembering a list of words or repeating rules from a book. It’s about using English to express who you are, to connect with people, and to feel understood. That’s why I use a story-based approach. Stories make language meaningful. They help you see how grammar, idioms, and collocations actually work in real life. When you hear a phrase inside a story, it stays with you. You remember it because it’s connected to something real.

My teaching style is simple, clear, and focused.
I don’t believe English needs to be complicated to be powerful. I’ve seen too many learners lose confidence because they think fluency means using big words or perfect grammar. But it doesn’t. Fluency means being able to express yourself clearly, calmly, and naturally. It's sharing your thoughts without that little voice in your head worrying about mistakes.

tutor to adult learningAs a college lecturer, I’ve helped learners build the English they need to succeed in studies, careers, and new businesses. My approach is practical and confidence-driven: we focus on real communication: pitches, networking, presentations, and daily conversations... so English feels useful from day one. I use storytelling and real-life scenarios to make lessons engaging, memorable, and relevant to your goals as a professional or entrepreneur.

With strong intercultural awareness, I ensure students don’t just learn English, but use it naturally and effectively in daily life.
