My name is Karim Maalem, and I am a native francophone passionate about helping learners speak naturally and with confidence. I lived in Germany from 1995 to 2001 and have been in Brazil since 2001. I’ve been teaching since 1992 and working as a French teacher since 2005. I’m also a certified DELF–DALF examiner.

Hello! I’m Karim, a French teacher and educational technologies specialist with over 20 years of experience. I’ve taught in Brazil, Germany, the U.S. and Algeria for institutions such as the Alliance Française in Brasília and Portland, Babbel (Berlin), the University of Magdeburg, Amazon in Canada and Proformation in France. I hold a Master’s in FLE and a partial Master’s in language didactics (Sorbonne Nouvelle). I work with Moodle, H5P, Zoom, Canva, Genially, Google Workspace and many other tools that support effective online learning. Whether you want to prepare for DELF, DALF, TCF, improve conversation, refine grammar, or learn French for university or work (FOS/FOU), each lesson is fully personalized.
