I’m Maya, a 22 year old from Israel currently traveling the world✈️. I've visited 9 countries so far on this adventure and enjoy discovering new places and meeting new people🌏.
I love music🎵 - I play the flute and sing, and I like basically anything to do with the arts.

I’m passionate about sharing the beauty of Hebrew, an ancient language rich in history and cultural importance. My background includes teaching in schools and kindergartens, as well as guiding tours across Israel for people of all ages, where I loved helping others discover and connect with this language. My teaching style is centered around a personalized approach, as I believe every student has their own unique way of learning. I tailor each lesson to fit the individual needs and preferences of my students, ensuring that the learning experience is both effective and engaging. I’m really glad I found Maya and have the opportunity to study with her. We always manage to find common topics to discuss and she listens very attentively to my stories helping to develop them further and even sharing her own. This makes the lessons even more engaging. She has a cheerful and lively demeanor which makes our conversations enjoyable. It’s easy to communicate with her and she has helped me overcome the language barrier. Even with my modest level of Hebrew, I find it quite easy to speak with her. Her lessons are always interesting and she easily adapts to my needs as a student.

We learned about verbs today and Maya helped me recognize the common patterns for singular, plural, masculine, feminine, etc. She gave lots of examples and prompts to practice these various forms and I learned a lot! תודה רבה 🥹
