Hello! My name is Barry, I am 25 years old and I am a native English speaker with extensive tutoring experience, born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. I have studied my native language up to a higher level of SCQF level 6 and in addition to this, I am currently in the process of doing my TEFL Level 5 certificate (teaching English as a foreign language).
I am a photography student here in Scotland with a strong passion for travel and I have now visited 40 countries, therefore I am very excited to meet you all, learn about your home country and most importantly, improve your English through relaxed, fun classes!我的教學經歷
I have over 600 hours of both in person and online teaching experience which I have accumulated over a period of 2 years. I have studied English up to a higher level of SCQF level 6 and in addition to this, I am currently in the process of doing my TEFL Level 5 certificate (teaching English as a foreign language). My lessons vary depending on the students needs, goals, current level and learning style. I offer classes to students of all levels, from absolute beginner to more advanced students who would like to maintain their English fluency through conversational practice!
I know that every student learns differently, and what works for one student, might not work for another! therefore every class will be unique to each person, and we will adjust it to suit the best form of learning for you, pushing your English further with every class!我的教材

I’ve been taking 30-minute lessons with my English teacher, and the experience has been excellent. Even with the short class time, he makes every minute truly productive and focuses on exactly what I need to improve.
One of the things I appreciate most is how natural our conversations are. We talk about a bit of everything daily life, culture, personal interests and it feels genuinely effortless, almost like talking to a friend. This makes the learning process much more comfortable and engaging.
His teaching style is clear, patient, and very effective. He corrects my mistakes in a gentle, constructive way, always explaining the reason behind each correction and offering more natural alternatives.
I can really feel my vocabulary, fluency, and confidence improving with every lesson. He adapts the content to my level and goals, and the classes always feel relaxed yet truly beneficial.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English through natural conversation.
