Today, I had a very productive lesson. Richard is a highly knowledgeable teacher who shows a genuine interest in the topics we discuss.

Today, we worked on academic writing. Richard is really good in understanding the ideas behind a text (the age-old question: What is the author trying to say?) and explaining how to improve it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Richard. I have to speak English for work (with customers for example), and while I’m already at an advanced level, I’m still uncertain about a few grammar points. Richard was very helpful in explaining the advanced use of tenses, for example. I think this will be especially useful for my writing so that my English is precise and clear.

I truly appreciate Richard’s help in editing my paper and making it much clearer and easier to understand. Thank you very much!
