My name is Mariko. I’m Japanese, and I currently live in the United States.
I love teaching Japanese, and I’m really excited to help those who want to learn the language🇯🇵
I am working towards obtaining the national qualification of “Certified Japanese Language Teacher” and am also studying translation!
My future goal is to publish a book of my paintings in both Japanese and other language.
My favorite things: Art and Craft, Reading, Watching News/ Lectures, Music, Nature, Animal, Playing table tennis, and more. I enjoy sharing different cultures with people from overseas!

Do you feel this way about learning a Japanese? If so, I would like to help you !
✅Your Japanese is at an intermediate or upper-intermediate level, but you wouldn’t consider yourself fully fluent.
✅You want to be able to have smooth conversations with native Japanese speakers.
(To express what you want to say accurately, and understand the information others are sharing.)
✅You’ve come to understand enough Japanese for everyday use, so you struggle to stay motivated with self-study alone. You still want to improve your level by reviewing with native speakers.
