I am preparing for the TCF, and finding the right mentor was vital for me. There were numerous profiles on italki, and I decided to book a session with Alian based on my availability. I really like Alian’s teaching style because he understands what level a student is at and, based on that, lays out a plan. During the classes, I learned things about pronunciation, grammar, verb + preposition patterns, etc. that I couldn’t find anywhere else. He also encourages me to communicate in French and corrects me whenever needed. Personally, I can see that I’ve improved and will continue to improve with his help.
