I’m a native Japanese tutor living in Tokyo🗼
I have worked as a Japanese web editor/writer for 10+ years ✨
I studied in California (USA) for four years, where I majored in liberal arts and ethnomusicology — exploring the connection between language, culture, and music 📚🎵
I love traveling and enjoy meeting people worldwide 🌎
I've visited Vietnam, China, the UK, Switzerland, France, and other countries for both travel and work 🇻🇳🇨🇳🇬🇧🇨🇭🇫🇷
I'm also learning Spanish as a third language 🇪🇸
My hobbies are playing the piano, and I'm a mom of two boys (ages 13 and 7) 🎹👬

We had in-depth discussions on the cultural differences surrounding the use of contracts (employment, real estate et cetera) in Japan and other countries. Also got to revise verb conjugations like 〜られる. Had great fun and am looking forward to my next lesson as usual!
