Hi! I’m Yuko. I love talking with people, traveling, sharing interesting aspects of Japan, and I’m a mom of 2 boys.
I studied abroad in California for 4 years, majoring in ethnomusicology. That experience showed me how language connects people and cultures.
Back in Japan, I have grown through work in translation, music production, and web editing. These experiences make my lessons creative and practical.
In 2022, I became a certified holistic coach in the U.S. By combining coaching with teaching, I create lessons where students feel supported and enjoy Japanese learning!我的教學經歷

My lessons are conversation-focused and customized for each student, with some simple grammar included.
You can learn:
- Travel & Everyday Japanese: phrases useful for traveling and daily conversations
- Japanese Culture & Media: daily life, manga, anime, movies, dramas, music, literature, art, and more
- Beginner Basics: easy grammar, Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, and key phrases
- Deepen Your Japanese: vocabulary and expressions for students who want to expand their skills

- Clear English support whenever needed
- A relaxed, friendly atmosphere—mistakes are part of learning!
