Hi! My name is Jenn from Korea and I love to dance💃, learn about new cultures👩🏻🏫.
I was born in Korea but also lived in Canada, England, Germany and the United States for work and studies. Now I'm based in Seoul, South Korea. I love getting to know about cultures and people around the world, it keeps me grounded and curious in this crazy world we live in!

I worked at a Korean gaming company as a Korean to English translator for 6 years, which means I've developed high proficiency in both languages, and I can bring up your language skills to a more advanced level. I have volunteered at an American elementary school as a teaching assistant , and I also have experiencing in teaching English to kids. I have also helped out adults speak in English in groups and also individually.我的課程內容與教學風格
I am flexible with my teaching style, but it's important for me to create an environment for you to talk freely without being judged. We will discuss current affairs and hot topics. I will give you corrections and suggestions for you to review afterwards, and the topic of the class with be decided differently for each class.我的教材

I have been learning Korean for about 3 years now. I'm taking lessons with Jenn twice a week to help me with speaking, which is difficult to practice by yourself. I'm very happy with my progress since I started taking lessons with her.
We practice both certain grammar points, as well as everyday situations. Jenn will keep a protocol of what we are talking about, which I can then review after the lesson. Sometimes I will suggest a topic that I'm interested in, and she will include that in her teaching. So I can highly recommend her as a teacher.
I should also mention that her English is really excellent.

Jenn was very good at determining my level of competency. I have struggled a lot learning Korean but she made a very practical lesson plan tailored to my specific deficiencies. She will be a particularly great resource to those students who need practical context to learning a language and struggle with traditional language classroom settings.
