Hi! I’m Tanner, a teacher, stand-up comedian, public speaker, and language learner with a master’s in linguistics, ESL certifications (TESOL/TEFL), and I've taught since 2015 - wow that's almost more than 10 years now and I love it. That's my longest, most committed relationship! Don't tell my wife...
I specialize in helping learners (B1–C2) speak more confidently and comfortably. That means being able to talk about anything and everything.
Expect lessons that are: conversation-based, interesting, and always tailored to your goals (school, business, travel, presentations, revenge, etc.)

I personalize my lessons as much as possible. I want to give you the opportunity to improve your English quickly and help you use newly learned information as quick as possible in the real world.

My lessons almost always consist of:
1. A warmup activity: usually discussing related topics, news, etc. using pictures or discussion questions.
2. A pre-reading or pre-video discussion.
3. Vocabulary
4. Reading, listening to, or watching something
5. We check to make sure you understand everything important.
6. Deeper discussion.
7.Homework (optional)
8.Review mistakes and corrections that I have saved for the end of the lesson.
