שלום, I'm Mazal :)
I'm a native Hebrew speaker living in Israel. My family moved here from Ethiopia when I was a baby, so I grew up fully immersed in Israeli culture.
Because I’ve experienced what it’s like to bridge different worlds, I’m here to help you find your own voice in Hebrew. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident in real-life conversations. I see our lessons as a partnership, so I always welcome your feedback to ensure we are progressing in the way that works best for you.

I’m a conversational tutor who believes in creating a relaxed space where you can practice Hebrew naturally. Having learned several languages myself, I know exactly how it feels when you're trying to express yourself in a new language.
My father always told me that every language you learn is a treasure. I believe the best way to find those treasures is by not being afraid to make mistakes. To help you stay focused on our conversation, I will take the notes for you. By the end of the day, you’ll receive a personalized summary file with the specific vocabulary and phrases we used, including full transliteration. I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Because every student is different, I tailor my lessons to your specific needs. Our sessions can be a mix: we can have a structured lesson with a clear plan, or focus on spontaneous conversation.
My priority is your comfort. During our session, you don’t have to worry about the technical side of taking notes. I handle the writing in real-time so you can stay fully present in the conversation. As I mentioned, I will send you all the new words in an organized, personalized summary by the end of the day.
Whether you want to build your confidence from scratch or polish your fluency, I’m here to make the process enjoyable and effective:-)5.0

Mazal is a lively enthusiastic teacher who is engaging, thoughtful and good fun. She has revitalised my motivation to learn Hebrew by her encouragement, a plan for building my knowledge bank and her clear exposition of new vocabulary. At the end of a lesson she sends me a list of the words we have covered, with transliteration to help pronunciation and shoresh to help associative memory.
