¡Hola, me llamo! Soy de los Estados Unidos, pero estudio en Gales, y este año estoy haciendo un intercambio en Chile. Hablo inglés y español, y quiero que la gente tenga las misma oportunidades que yo para aprender idiomas y sobre otras culturas. Me interesa mucho la música, leer, cocinar, hornear, los deportes- ¡puedo hablar de todo!
Hi, my name is Theresa! I'm from the United States, but I study in Wales, and this year I'm doing an exchange in Chile. I speak English and Spanish, and I want people to have the same opportunities as me to learn languages and about other cultures. Tengo mucha experiencia enseñando español a estudiantes en el colegio. Enseñé a varios de años inferiores y también enseñé a mis propios compañeros mientras tomaba español en los últimos años del colegio. Además, enseño a otros independientemente en mis horarios disponibles, como amigos y familia, y soy parte del programa de los "Buddies de lengua" de mi universidad.
I have extensive experience teaching Spanish to students in high school. I taught underclassmen and also taught my own classmates while taking Spanish in my final years of high school. I also teach others independently, such as friends and family, and I am part of my university's "Language Buddy" program.我的課程內容與教學風格
Me gusta utilizar la lectura, la poesía, la música y las noticias para introducir temas contemporáneos, y para que los estudiantes conozcan varias culturas y distintos dialectos de español. Normalmente, manda que hagan actividades o que lean fuera de la clase, y que nos reunamos después para hablar sobre el tema, el vocabulario, la gramática, etc.
I like to use reading, poetry, music, and news to introduce contemporary topics and to introduce students to various cultures and different dialects of Spanish. I usually have them do activities or read outside of class, and then meet up afterwards to discuss the topic, vocabulary, grammar, etc.我的教材

學士學位 - Philosophy and SpanishMy double major is composed of studying philosophical, political, ethical, and religious topics, while also studying Spanish and Spanish literature. In my year abroad, I study philosophy, so I am combining both parts of my degree to discuss philosophical themes in my second language. As such, my knowledge of Spanish is not only colloquial, but academic, and at a university level.
