Today's lesson really felt like progress. Taking the new vocab and learnings and applying the words and sentence structures learned all the way back in my first lessons to create new questions and contexts. It feels like Asuka-Sensei is helping me make progress really quickly!

Todays lesson went really well. I had a few questions about last weeks materials and parts I was struggling with pronunciation so we covered the previous material in review. This was really helpful and Asuka-sensei was really patient with me sounding things out. A*

Asuka-sensei is the best! She makes a relaxing and easy environment for conversations. And because talking with her is so fun, it motivates me to speak more, which helps me improve. She also takes notes during our talks so I can look back on them later. Thanks for the interesting talks always.

This lesson we studied saying our age. Whitest knowing my numbers up to 19, Asuka-sensei taught me that, from there, numbers up to and above 100 are actually also known with simple grammar additions. Applying numbers to ages was also very useful and builds upon our previous lessons. Coming away from this lesson feeling great. Thank you Asuka-sensei!

Asuka-san is an incredible and fun conversation partner who can effortlessly keep the lesson flowing with engaging questions and lively personal input. She deftly flows between topics making seamless transitions between conversations, while also remembering and following up on past conversations. I would highly recommend her to any student looking to practice speaking in a relaxed atmosphere with a skilled and patient teacher.
