In Japan, I worked as a certified nursery school teacher in Nagoya and as a crew member on the Shinkansen bullet train in Tokyo.

Child Care SpecialistDuring my fourth year of university, I studied hard to obtain a daycare teacher qualification and to work as a public nursery school teacher after graduation.
(I could have worked for a private one without putting in that effort, but I decided to put my energy into aiming for a higher career.)
I passed the exam and spent three years educating children aged 1 to 5, including those with special needs.

學士學位 - Child Care SpecialistI belonged to the Faculty of Human Care and studied child care for four years to obtain a daycare teacher qualification and a kindergarten teacher license.
Although it was not required, I also chose to take subjects to obtain an elementary school teacher license in order to pursue a higher career, and successfully obtained a total of three qualifications and licenses.

Chika-san is a great teacher and study partner. Even though we use workbook material, she allows me to go off-topic if a naturally occuring topic comes up. I enjoy this style and her openness in my learning and questions. すごく楽しい！

Lessons with Chika are always fun and full of positive energy. She creates a relaxed atmosphere where it’s easy to talk, but she also stays focused and really listens. Even when I get stuck, she’s patient and encouraging, helping me build confidence by drawing out my strengths. The conversations flow naturally, and she keeps them going with interesting questions and insights. I always enjoy our time and feel motivated after each session. I highly recommend this teacher for students of every level. Seriously, super fun!

I always look forward to our sessions.
We work through the Genki workbook and occasionally have funny and random tangents that make learning more engaging and interesting. Let Chika be your Japanese teacher and you'll improve just from joy of it.
