Hello, my name is Isidro! I am a native English speaker from the United States. I have lived most of my life in Chile, currently in the beautiful coastal city of Concón in the Valparaíso region. I currently teach English full-time to students and professionals, both online and in person. In addition to English, I am a fluent Spanish speaker.
I am a qualified ESL tutor with over 10 years of English teaching experience, and I hold a 120-hour Premier TEFL certificate. I have taught learners from all backgrounds and ages, whether for personal improvement or to achieve their desired scores on IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or other international exams.我的教學經歷
I encourage a student-based learning approach. I like to first meet with my students and help assess their needs together. If a student wants to study a specific subject and aspect of English, I say go for it! The more a student is involved in their learning process, the more they feel a desire to continue to grow and achieve.

My lessons focus on understanding English from the inside out. We build a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary, not through memorization, but through real examples and conversation.
I use a combination of eliciting/communicative and structural approach. This basically means that we focus on having natural conversations and incorporate grammar structures, new vocabulary, and phrasal language as we talk. Then I show you how, why, and where to make changes and improve. You’ll learn how to recognize patterns, fix recurring mistakes, and use English correctly in ways that sound natural through constant practice.我的教材
