-I also enjoy writing novels, poetry, and cultural articles-
have contributed to a cultural website.
-Cooking is another passion of mine. - I have developed around 1,000
of my own recipes.
I am flexible, patient, and friendly. I adapt my lessons to each student's needs and focus on both grammar and speaking, because through my teaching experience, I've found that students learn best when they understand what they are saying first.
I also emphasize on cultural understanding and practical language skills, so students feel confident using Greek in real life.
I hold a BA in European & Greek Civilization, which gives me a deep understanding of Greek Language in all periods (from Ancient Greek to Modern Greek), literature, history, philosophy and the arts.
I also have an MA in Pedagogical Studies, which helped me develop my teaching style.
My lessons are flexible and student-centered, because understanding how the language works is essential for speaking confidently and correctly in real-life situations.

Sophia's lessons always leave me in a good mood. She is well informed on current events and introduces interesting topics. She also elicits topics by asking questions that generate conversations to apply vocabulary in different areas of life. She is responsive and supportive, and I can feel my conversation skills growing with each lesson.
