Since July 2017 I have been a community tutor on italki. Tutoring is the most rewarding work I have ever done. In addition to serving as a tutor, I am a freelance writer. Prior to tutoring I worked 23 years as a research and writing paralegal. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a writing minor and an urban honors certificate. A life-long learner, I study philosophy, psychology, French, Arabic and history. I love a good story—please tell me yours.我的教學經歷
With me, students continually progress into greater English fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, and focus on moving from simple to complex. My lessons are conversation centric. As we talk I correct pronunciation and grammar while offering new vocabulary and structure. Book a lesson and lets get the conversation going. 我的課程內容與教學風格
Lessons with me are all about you, the student. For informal lessons, we choose a discussion topic and see where it takes us. During conversations I correct pronunciation, introduce new words and suggest varied sentence patterns. For more structured lessons, I first determine what you want to learn and your current skill level then systematically build up your skills, including for oral interviews, written essays and narratives.我的教材

The teacher’a work is excellent. There is always a topic to talk about, she makes you different interesting questions and not only corrects your pronunciation, but also gives you new vocabulary to learn. Excellent!
