I am a native English speaker from the United States with a TESOL certification and extensive experience teaching learners from diverse backgrounds. I am deeply committed to helping students achieve their personal and professional goals—whether they are advancing in their careers, rebuilding their lives, or exploring literature more deeply. My teaching style focuses on building confidence in reading, speaking, and vocabulary, making English a practical and empowering tool for every student I work with.我的教學經歷
I have been teaching English since 2006. My first teaching experience was as a volunteer in Thailand, where I supported refugees in developing their English skills to prepare for resettlement. After returning to the United States, I continued this work by volunteering with a local literacy organization, offering one-on-one instruction to refugees and other immigrants. I also spent several years volunteering online with a nonprofit that supports women professionals in developing countries, helping them strengthen their English for career advancement. These experiences have shaped my student-centered approach and deepened my commitment to making language learning a pathway to opportunity. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I offer two main types of courses designed to meet your goals:
Independent Reading – Designed for advanced learners who enjoy exploring literature and ideas. I provide a suggested reading list, and students choose where to begin based on their interests and level. Lessons focus on discussion, interpretation, and vocabulary growth—helping you read with confidence and insight.
Guided Conversation – Perfect for learners who want to speak more confidently and naturally. Each lesson focuses on fluency, vocabulary, and clear communication—helping you express yourself with ease in real-life situations.5.0
