素晴らしいな日本語先生です！

A fun debut lesson! I introduced myself, and we talked about my Japanese learning goals and motivations. I have a persistent issue with overusing stiff, bookish language during a conversation, so I hope to receive tips and advice to help make my register more appropriate to casual interactions. I thank Norio sensei for his patience and willingness to share his experiences throughout his career as a teacher of Japanese.

Norio is an amazing teacher! I wouldn’t want anyone else teaching me. Best teacher !

Norio-san and I met for the first time today and we went over my goals and discussed my Japanese level. We covered a bit of grammar, and he offered corrections for my initial message to him and explained my mistakes. Thank you!

I honestly feel like I’m actually learning Japanese. He is a very thorough teacher, as well as patient. I plan to stick with Norio for a long time!
