I can't recommend Shuta-san highly enough. He was incredibly patient with me, even when I was clearly nervous during our lessons. His calm and encouraging teaching style made me feel comfortable and helped build my confidence. I've learned so much in just a few classes—far more than I expected. I almost feel selfish writing this review because I don't want his schedule to fill up! Shuta-san is an amazing teacher, and I plan to continue learning with him for as long as he's available. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and supportive Japanese teacher, I wholeheartedly recommend him!

日本語を本気で学びたい人には、Shuta先生めっちゃおすすめです！ 自分が特にいいなと思ってるのは、英語を使わずに日本語だけで説明してくれて、例もたくさん出してくれるところ。中級〜上級レベルの人や、日本語の環境で勉強したい人にはすごく合ってると思います。 あと、毎回のレッスン後に内容をまとめた丁寧なレポートも送ってくれるから、復習にもかなり役立ちます！ I highly recommend Shuta-sensei if you're serious about your Japanese learning journey. What I personally appreciate is his teaching approach, mainly explaining concepts in Japanese and uses examples rather than relying on English translations. This method is especially valuable if you're at an intermediate or advanced level, or simply seeking full immersion during your lessons. Additionally, he provides a thorough and useful report after each lesson, summarizing the content covered, which is great for reviewing and reinforcing what you've learned. Recomiendo muchísimo a Shuta sensei si te estás tomando en serio el japonés o si estás en un nivel intermedio-alto, ya que explica y da ejemplos de forma clara y sin necesidad de traducir al inglés todo. Además, después de la clase te envía un reporte muy útil.

Shuta has been a fantastic teacher for my conversation lessons. He's always really enthusiastic, keeps the conversation topics flowing well with lots of opportunity for me to talk, and is just a all round pleasure to chat with. Whenever I'm struggling to form sentences he strikes the perfect balance of letting me think of what I'm trying to say whilst also knowing when it's appropriate to step in and give me a helping hand. He provides great teaching materials for reviewing outside of lessons - plenty of vocab and example sentences. I can't recommend him enough.

I had my first Japanese lesson with Shuta-san, and it was a wonderful experience. He was very supportive, and his teaching style was fun and engaging, which made the lesson enjoyable from start to finish.
