My name is Mitsuo.
私（わたし）の名前（なまえ）は光男（みつお）です。
My favorite things are music, motion pictures, and art.
My favorite places are libraries, book stores, theaters, and the rich with nature.
好（す）きなものは、音楽（おんがく）や映画（えいが）やアート（あーと）です。
好きな場所（ばしょ）は、図書館（としょかん）や書店（しょてん）、劇場（げきじょう）、自然（しぜん）が豊（ゆた）かなところです。

Mitsuo-san remembers what we have talked about and refers to previous conversations to ask how things turned out. I really appreciate that level of interest. We talk about many different topics. Every lesson is fun and I learn new things every time.

With some other tutors it has sometimes been difficult to fill the time with enough to talk about (that I can say and understand), but with Mitsuo-san the lesson time is over before I know it. Such an inspiration for sticking with this tough language!
