Mitsuo

みつお先生 is a very patient and calm person. So I don't feel pressured even when I struggle to form basic sentences or when I make very basic grammar mistakes. He teaches me naturally spoken Japanese that is used in real life which I really appreciate. Because the textbook only teaches us formal Japanese that may or may not be used in real life.

With some other tutors it has sometimes been difficult to fill the time with enough to talk about (that I can say and understand), but with Mitsuo-san the lesson time is over before I know it. Such an inspiration for sticking with this tough language!

Mitsuo-san taught me several new words and helped to express myself in Japanese. I am very grateful for his patience and encouragement.

I often make mistakes and get stuck. Mitsuo San has come to my rescue. His patient and friendly personality has really helped me to learn new expressions and stay relaxed. Our conversations are genuine, lively and encouraging.

Really appreciate みつお先生 because he lets me decide how I want the conversation time to be used. Whether I want to ask questions about vocabulary, natural phrases/expressions or if I want to have free speaking practice he leaves it to me without any pressure. I feel I benefit a lot from every session as I am no longer bound by textbooks or restricted by lesson plans. He is a very kind person.

Mitsuo-san remembers what we have talked about and refers to previous conversations to ask how things turned out. I really appreciate that level of interest. We talk about many different topics. Every lesson is fun and I learn new things every time.
