Hi, everyone! I’m Fréderick Peña (people call me Alex). I’m from Colombia, and I’ve been living in Medellín for a while. I’m a psychologist, and I enjoy listening to people and learning about different cultures, as well as sharing my own. Besides that, I also like practicing martial arts (Kung Fu), hiking, and dancing. Getting to know your interests and goals is very important to me. will pay close attention to your preferences and take your suggestions into account to create a comfortable space where you can express your doubts, make mistakes, and even share your thoughts and feelings about your learning process. I will guide you step by step, making sure you feel supported and motivated along the way while gaining confidence in speaking, understanding, and expressing yourself naturally.

我的課程內容與教學風格

Learning a language is a process, and I believe the best way to do it is through immersion. In our lessons, we’ll focus on real-life Spanish by simulating conversations in different contexts and learning various expressions that are commonly used here in Colombia. In addition, we can also work on expanding your vocabulary and improving your grammar through different exercises based on the topics you’re interested.

Frederick was super fun to work with. During our first lesson together, he was so quick to adapt to the topics that I want to talk about. His questions are super helpful and he really maintains the flow of the conversation even if we switch topics in between. We started with a short intro, asked me about my goals and what I want to learn, and continued with our conversation practice. 10 minutes before the class ended, he made sure to explain to me his process and how we can move forward with a plan in mind. I suggested some ideas on what we can do in our class that I feel would help me the most, and he is up for it and so I appreciate it a lot! Muchas gracias Frederick! Nos vemos pronto!
