Hi! My name is Rui. I was born and raised in Japan, and now I live in the U.S.
I love traveling and trying new foods! I have traveled to 44 of Japan's 47 prefectures. So if you are planning a trip to Japan, I would love to help you make your itinerary.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and tailored to your goals. Whether you are just starting out or want to polish your fluency, I am here to support you. Let's enjoy learning Japanese together!我的教學經歷
I have taught learners from beginner to advanced levels both in language schools and online. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and flexible. I enjoy helping learners build confidence and reach their goals. I love learning about my students too and always aim to create a comfortable and enjoyable learning space.
I try to offer as many lessons as possible each week.
My schedule can change from week to week due to family commitments or occasional trips to Japan, but I always communicate in advance and make sure lessons run smoothly.
I really appreciate your understanding and flexibility!

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals and level.
🔸Beginner Lessons(N5-N4):
I use the Genki textbook to build a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and basic conversation. I also provide English support to help learners feel confident and comfortable.
🔸Free Flowing Conversation(N3+):
Practice speaking naturally about various topics. I will guide you with corrections and suggestions to help you speak more fluently.
🔸JLPT Preparation:
I offer structured lessons for N5-N2 levels, focusing on grammar, reading, vocabulary, and mock exams.
🔸Business Japanese:
Learn polite expressions, email writing, and useful phrases for work situations, along with cultural tips.我的教材

The class was really fun! Ruiさん asked lots of engaging questions and told me interesting stories, which made our conversation flow very easily. All my nervousness at the beginning disappeared as soon as we started talking. She had also asked about my learning background beforehand to prepare for the lesson, which I really appreciated. I'm already looking forward to our next class!
