Hello, adventurer! My name is Mariana and I'll be your guide in your Spanish adventure.
I am certified nerd and Spanish teacher with a passion for everything language-related. Learning, translating, teaching — you name it!我的教學經歷
My adventure in language education started earning a B.S. in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master's degree in Education. For my master’s thesis, I had the pleasure of focusing specifically on the unique needs of adult language learners.
My main mission has been to teach Spanish, with two fulfilling years spent in secondary school classrooms. Along the way, I've had some exciting side quests, including volunteering as a Spanish teacher for NGOs like the Red Cross and spending a year teaching in Japan, where I gained a whole new perspective on language learning in different contexts.我的課程內容與教學風格
I’m also a proud self-declared gamer with 5 years of experience in the video game industry as a translator and localization specialist. To me, language learning, just like a good game, it's a thrilling journey in which you'll adquire new skills and tools to face new challenges... and the occasional boss fight on your way to fluency!
You guessed it right... I am very fond of gamification! I will work as your guide to map your learning adventure. Together, we'll identify your goals, face together challenges, and build a scaffolded journey that leads you directly to the final screen: confident and authentic communication.
