Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean-Baptiste! I’m a French teacher from Nice, on the sunny French Riviera, and I also love exploring the world through my filmmaker and photographer hats.
I’ve always believed that learning a language is one of the most exciting ways to open the world. After studying History and Geography in Lyon, I focused on storytelling and traveled to 30 countries, from the turquoise shores of Greece to the vibrant streets of India. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy helping curious minds unlock the beauty of French, through culture, conversation, or everyday life.

I began French lessons with Jean-Babtiste with the hopes of improving my French to a level where I would be able to communicate with my extended family. After only a few weeks I feel as though I am on the cusp of doing so. Jean-Babtiste was extremely accommodating as the only free time I had for lessons was on my commute to work which he had no issue with. Si tu veux apprendre français efficacement, tu as besoin de prendre des leçons avec lui. He takes the time to ensure you understand the logic behind words/phrases/etc. Merci Jean-Baptiste!

As a language teacher with many years of experience, I’m very selective when it comes to choosing my own instructors, and I can confidently say that lessons with Jean-Baptiste have been outstanding.
