A big family makes you either a silent person going unnoticed, or loud and talkative like me.
I love talking to people, engaging in conversations and making friends which results into my love for learning and teaching new languages, which used to be "not my best". I failed Pashto language in 6th grade. Shocked, I asked myself why? "Is it really my fault or Pashto is too hard? Trying to prove I was not dumb and that I had failed just because the language was too hard, I changed my studying strategies. It was a miracle! The language became quite easy, and my new strategies led to not only good grades but also new, good friends! So here I am; fond of teaching and learning and teaching languages我的教學經歷
I have been working as an English language instructor for years. My objective is finding and designing the best strategy for my students based on their level, time and goal to prove learning a new language, specially Farsi Dari is not hard at all. The most important thing in my classes is having pleasant lessons. I believe the more seriously you take it, the harder it becomes to learn a new language. My students learn fast because they do not notice how much effort they put in since they do it in a pleasant way. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I use and combine several methods including Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT), Blended Learning and Growing Participator Approach (GPA) to form a rewarding learning-teaching strategy. I concentrate on enabling students to start speaking with less grammatical complexity, engaging in conversations, telling and listening to stories.我的教材

Today was a really good class! I think it was our second class together. I felt like I talked a lot and even with all my errors, I felt confident talking with Atifa. She is a good listener and really tries to understand what I’m saying. If she’s not sure, she always confirms (in Dari) to make sure she understood me correctly. I plan to continue booking lessons with her!

I just wrapped up my 50th lesson with Atifa, and they’ve flown by. I’m already looking forward to the next 50!
She’s great at keeping the conversation flowing and always manages to find the perfect English word to explain the nuance of a Dari term when I get stuck.
She’s got a good sense of humor, plenty of charisma, and knows her history, which makes every lesson engaging and interesting.
