My teaching style is immersive—I believe that to truly master a language, students should engage with its art, culture, and everyday use. I focus on conversation practice and grammar lessons, helping students build both fluency and accuracy.
My strength lies in listening and speaking, and I use a personalized approach to keep students engaged. I take the time to understand their interests and hobbies, incorporating them into lessons to make learning enjoyable rather than a chore.

Great first lesson with Pooya:)

This was my first lesson with Pooya. I really enjoyed his teaching style. We spent a portion of the class speaking and the other part watching a Persian kids show. He would pause the show after a couple sentences and ask what I understood. He then explained the words I didn’t know using examples in Persian. This helped me understand the words much better than had he just given me English translations. I recommend Pooya to anyone learning Persian. I will definitely be booking more lessons with him!
