I live in Dandong, the largest border city in China. Standing by the Yalu River, I can see the mysterious country across the shore—North Korea. Though Dandong is small, it attracts some foreign tourists, most of whom come to catch a glimpse of the neighboring country from afar. As a Chinese teacher for foreigners with years of teaching experience, who has been consistently studying Korean and English (and can teach in both English and Korean), I truly understand my students’ feelings and needs. For beginners—are you afraid to open your mouth, worried about making mistakes? Don’t be! I will patiently repeat, practice, and encourage you just like a mother would, helping you speak up with confidence. For intermediate learners—do you still find yourself stuck speaking in short sentences? Leave that to me. I will use heuristic methods to guide you toward producing longer sentences. For advanced learners—do you often struggle with improper verb-object collocations that make your Chinese sound unnatural? Come on, let’s dive into hot news and topic-based conversations. I’ll help you form a Chinese mindset and develop the habit of expressing yourself in authentic Chinese Whether you’re a child or a senior, a student or an employee, staying at home or a busy professional—as long as you have a passion for Chinese, I’ll give you a hand to help you achieve your dream of becoming a Chinese language master. 淑玉 is an excellent teacher. we had a great free-flowing conversation about a variety of interesting topics, and she patiently stopped to write down and explain parts I didn't understand, like various 成语 and other slang. She has a great temperament for teaching and is very pleasant to practice conversation skills with. Highly recommend!
